Valet Weirdness

3:00 PM -- Let's file this one under: Bizarre press release correction du jour, as run on the PR Newswire and Yahoo Inc. (Nasdaq: YHOO):

    C O R R E C T I O N -- California Girls Valet Parking/ Friday June 3, 2:03 pm ET

In the news release, California Girls Valet Parking Opens in Beverly Hills, issued earlier today by California Girls Valet Parking over PR Newswire, we are advised by the company that the fourth paragraph, final sentence should read, "Saltzman started the company in August 2002 after he made national headlines for banning Scott Peterson's parents from his hotel and was then forced to resign," rather than "Saltzman started the company in August 2002 after he made national headlines for banning Scott Peterson's parents from his hotel" as originally issued inadvertently.

I take it that if Saltzman was banning the Petersons, he was making some sort of moral or social statement? Clearly he's on a roll with California Girls Valet, whose mission is obviously to uphold moral values worldwide. Here's more on Saltzman's upstanding and socially responsible efforts:

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., June 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Take 50 of LA's beautiful and sexy ladies. Add a rigorous training program in safety. Add guest service administered by a former hotel manager. Add a city that loves sex appeal. Viola ... you have California Girls Valet Parking.
