Lonely, Lonely People

3:15 PM -- My question about the Sprint Corp. (NYSE: S) customer service controversy that's burning up the Web at the moment is simple.

Some of the 1,000-odd users dropped by the operator for excessive calls to its customer service line rang in more than a hundred times a month, according to Sprint.

How could they stand to do that?

I can hardly bear the ten minutes on one of those automated menus you get before you reach a real person when you call any company these days. One hundred calls a month must be a serious drain on your time and mental energy.
