Gift From God?

5:30 PM -- The AP reports on a man who learned the hard way that the Lord is a check bouncer:

Kevin Russell found out it's not easy trying to cash a check from God. The 21-year-old man was arrested Monday after he tried to cash a check for $50,000 at the Chase Bank in Hobart that was signed "King Savior, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Servant," Hobart police Detective Jeff White said.

That is so typical of God to give gag gifts...

No court date has been set for Russell. He was being held Wednesday at the Lake County Jail on a $1,000 bond.

There has been no word yet as to whether or not the Almighty Father intends to post bail. If He does, it'll have to be cash only.

re: Gift From God? Willing to take shots at Jesus and not Muhammad?

I guess the Islamic terrorists have you in a box, don't they?

re: Gift From God? Willing to take shots at anyone, actually. Being this story made no reference to Muhammad whatsoever, taking a "shot" at him would have served no purpose. Maybe we should have taken a shot at Jesus, Muhammad, Steve Jobs, and Ellen DeGeneres, just to cover all grounds.

re: Gift From God? Stories and cartoons of Jesus and none of Muhammad?

"I'll be holding my breath waiting for the left blogshere to start treating other faiths with similar irreverance."

Lets see: your Christian/Christmas bashing posts include:
1) Gift from God
2) Sieg Heilidays?
3) Joyeux No+˝l Orange
4) Thank God if You're an Idiot
5) HTML Xmas Cards Suck
6) Merry Fitzmas!

I won't hold my breadth for a Muhammad cartoon.

re: Gift From God? Funny how it is always the animals that stick their neck out to mock God and Jesus. They must know something the Humans at Light Reading don't.

Hmmm, What could that something be? Hmmmm.

Anyway, it's all good, I forgive you.
