Deep Blue Mobile

6:00 PM -- Ah yes, here's one for the person that just can't stand to be without a cellphone, ever. The Fujitsu FOMA F704i underwater mobile, which is water resistant to a depth of three meters*.

Wonder how a call sounds down there.

*Don't try this with your new iPhone.

re: Deep Blue Mobile
It won't work underwater, since it would be transmitting into a very wet ground. And how could one talk into it underwater, anyway? But unlike most other handsets, it won't die just from a little bath now and then...

One of my StarTACs sleeps with the fishes under San Francisco Bay. Someday it will be found (likely when the Bay dries up during the next ice age), and they'll wonder why all handsets weren't water-resistant.

Thx. Craig.
