CTIA 2009: Sandbox, Litterbox

2:20 PM -- CTIA Wireless 2009 -- LAS VEGAS -- A vaguely amusing aside.
Light Reading's international editor, Ray Le Maistre, was just editing my story on Clearwire's WiMax Sandbox and messaged me: Jeezus. A 20-sq mile sandbox, cats will go mental...
Of course, silly Ray was thinking of a cat litter tray, which is sometimes called a sandbox in the U.K. Whereas a "sand pit" is the U.K. equivalent of a kid's sandbox. None of this pleased Old Jersey's finest:
"Bugger," Le Maistre wrote back. "I'll cut the extra par about cats freakin' out..."
And yes, for some unknown reason, he really did write "freakin'."
