CDNetworks Targets Gaming

  • CDNetworks is taking advantage of growth in the gaming industry by targeting massively multiplayer online (MMO) game publishers. K2 Network, Nexon, Burda:ic, TransGaming Technologies, and Gamepot were some of the customers announced in today's press release. "Gaming is one area that's growing, despite the economy, and we're helping these companies that are growing in difficult economic times," says Sarah Willis, VP of marketing for CDNetworks.

  • CBS has developed a $4.99 app that will allow iPhone and iPod Touch users to access live video from all 63 games of the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament. All games from the Final Four will also go on sale for $1.99 each, the day after they are completed.
