"One in Five Bosses Are Boneheads"
The poll is also throwing up some other surprising results. Nearly three quarters of the first 100 or so respondents say they’re considering changing jobs – and in most cases it’s not because they want more money or better option plans. The main reasons are boredom and a feeling that their current employer’s star is fading. (No prizes for guessing who that is.)
The main reasons for staying put are equally revealing. They like their current employers and they still feel challenged. A fair proportion are also locked in by vesting agreements.
The poll is active on Work Poll: Changing Job. Full results so far are on display for those who take the poll, and all input is confidential.
