A 4G LTE Summer Snapshot
AT&T Inc. said Tuesday that it has extended its LTE footprint by another 35 markets. This means the operator now has 326 live LTE towns and cities and expects to cover 90 percent of its target reach of 300 million people by the end of 2013.
Verizon Wireless meanwhile has matched its 3G footprint with 500 live LTE markets.

As you can see Sprint and T-Mobile are trailing their larger rivals in the LTE stakes.
We have seen plenty of T-Mobile LTE signals around NYC recently. The operator, however, hasn't made any official launch of the 4G technology in the big Apple or many other large cities yet.
T-Mobile had said that it planned to cover 100 million people with LTE by the middle of the year.
