ZettaCom Announces Partnerships

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. -- NetLogic Microsystems, the network search engine technology leader, and ZettaCom, Inc., a leading supplier of high-performance and configurable optical silicon solutions, today announced plans to seamlessly integrate NetLogic Microsystems' OPIX family of search engines with ZettaCom's Universal Switch Architecture product suite. The combined products deliver a high-performance solution that addresses the explosive demand for bandwidth while providing highly granular quality of service (QoS) differentiation required by emerging services at full-duplex OC-192 wire speed.

OTTAWA and SAN JOSE, Calif. -- With the alliance between ZettaCom and SiberCore announced today, network equipment developers now have an off-the-shelf, production-ready, configurable network processing OC-192 (10 Gbit/s) solution. SiberCore Technologies, the leader in providing silicon-based packet management products and solutions to the Internet infrastructure market and ZettaCom, Inc., a leading supplier of high-performance and configurable optical silicon solutions, have teamed for the first time in this marketing and reference system development collaboration.

The alliance between ZettaCom and SiberCore targets sophisticated LAN, WAN, MAN and SAN systems and provides these companies with a reference design combining integrated circuits from both companies, delivering the features and performance they need while enabling fast, easy changes to address emerging standards and evolving networking requirements.
