The Never Ending Story

The Cable Center inducted six more of the industry's best and brightest into the Cable Hall of Fame Thursday evening, so perhaps it's only fitting that two members of cable's unofficial Hall of Shame also made news this week.

Adelphia founder and disgraced former cable elder statesman John Rigas and his son, Timothy, apparently are not going down without a fight. They have petitioned the U.S. Supreme Court to hear an appeal of their earlier fraud convictions.

In late May, a New York court upheld 22 of 23 counts of the July 2004 conviction, which sentenced John Rigas to 15 years in prison and Timothy to 20 years.
