Azanda Unveils OC192 ICs

SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Azanda Network Devices, a pioneer in silicon-based optical networking solutions for metropolitan area networks, today announced their latest technology development: telecommunications ICs that perform traffic management, statistics collection and internetworking functions at 10 Gbps and above.

Interesting, because they has announced OC-768 devices earlier. At this rate, they'll deliver OC-12 by the end of 2002. :-)

re: Azanda Unveils OC192 ICs They are recycling old stuff. They either just woke up and realized that there is no OC-768 market or they are trying to make some noise before Interop. Probably a little of both. I heard from some headhunter that these guys just got some heavyweight CEO in so probabbly it's the latter.
