Karl currently serves as Group Vice President of Enterprise Sales for Level 3 Communications. Prior to this role, he served as Senior VP of Level 3's midmarket sales, where he managed segment activity for business customers below the Fortune 1000. He has also managed Level 3's global carrier channel, including international and domestic carrier, and wireless segments. Formerly, he served as Executive VP of corporate development and EVP of operations with NetRail Inc., with responsibility for growth and operations of a 46-city US network. Mr. Strohmeyer held various positions with BellSouth including development manager, assistant market development manager, and national accounts assistant executive. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New Hampshire and a Master's degree in international business from Mercer University.
