Tyco Adds to Board

PEMBROKE, Bermuda -- Tyco International Ltd. (NYSE:TYC, BSX: TYC, LSE: TYI) announced today that Brendan R. O'Neill, Chief Executive Officer of Imperial Chemical Industries PLC, will fill one of the vacancies expected to open on the Board at or before the Company's next annual general meeting. In addition to Mr. O'Neill, three other nominees, Bruce Gordon, Sandra Wijnberg, and Dennis Blair, have been nominated to join the Board. They will become Board members either when there are additional resignations from existing directors or at the Company's next annual meeting.
