FREMONT, Calif. -- Procera Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: PKT), the global Internet Intelligence company, today announced that it has joined the CloudBand Ecosystem Program created by Alcatel-Lucent to accelerate network functions virtualization (NFV) deployments. Procera will integrate its NFV solutions into the CloudBand NFV Platform for orchestration, automation, and optimization of virtual network functions across a service provider's distributed network. The initial use case will deliver solutions for fixed and mobile operators that leverage NFV to deliver highly targeted and personalized parental control.
