NEW ORLEANS, La. -- Metaswitch Forum 2014 -- Metaswitch devoted three days to explaining its view of the future to about 800 customers, partners and guests, including extensive discussion of virtualization and the move to software-driven networks.
Working off the theme, "The Brains of the New Global Network," the main presentations featuring brainy people from Metaswitch, the telecom industry, and even National Geographic Channel.

Giant spinning heads were a recurring theme. The heads featured various members of the Metaswitch leadership team doing alternating voice-overs in a humorous vein. The technology was serious but the presentation wasn't, at least not always.
