SALEM, N.H. -- StockerYale’s near Ultra-Violet Visible, (UV-VIS) Silica Core Fiber, marketed under the nomenclature, NUV-320-K1, is specifically designed for single mode operation in the near ultra-violet region. The fiber’s single mode design makes it ideal for an array of fiber optic probes used in a variety of UV-VIS spectroscopy applications such as color monitoring, film thickness, chemical and nuclear processing, pharmaceuticals, emission monitoring and other applications in the near UV spectrum.

The Company’s UV-VIS fiber is manufactured under the most stringent conditions to ensure a high-quality fiber with excellent geometric specifications and is available in a 125 ìm-clad diameter with an operating wavelength of between 320-450 nm. StockerYale’s team of engineers can also design a UV-VIS fiber to meet a customer’s exact specifications.
