STC Academy Digital Transformation in Talent Development

Dr. Moudhi Al-Jamea, Dean of STC Academy, shared STC's practice in the field of digital transformation talent development during the keynote speech Huawei User Group Meeting 2021.

In 2018, STC management decided to take the L&D to another level by newly structuring STC Academy as independent entity. The Academy provides different talent development solutions to four levels: fresh graduate, junior-level, mid-management and leaders’ level. The Academy's new vision is to be the inspirational help for future leaders and professionals to lead digital transformation and drives strategy in the GCC by Saudi Vision 2030.

As a digital enabler, STC Academy actively work with industry partners to enable customers and Saudi society to learn and grow. Dr. Al-Jamea expressed that one of the most important challenges is to quickly upskill employees and junior-level employees with the latest technologies to sharpen their skills for rapidly changing ICT era. Moreover, the Academy is committed to support STC DARE 2.0 strategy to encourage the agile mindset, talent development, strategic thinking and support the growth of STC. As a strategic department of STC, the Academy ought to achieve bigger goals in talent development sector to enable more manpower.

The Huawei User Group Meeting 2021 has been held for thirteen consecutive years. Over the past 13 years, a consulting committee composed of 12 customers and more than 440 partners have actively contributed to their suggestions. In collaboration with Huawei project teams, the committee have participated in more than 60 top issue improvement projects, continuously improving the quality of Huawei's products, services, and solutions and creating value for customers.

The Huawei User Group Meeting 2021 is held from July 13rd to 14th, 2021 and will be organized around "Listening | Cooperation | Improvement | Development". It is a platform for customers, Huawei experts and partners from around the world to exchange and share ideas.
