Simon Cao Named Avanex CTO

FREMONT, Calif. -- Avanex Corporation (Nasdaq: AVNX) announced today that Dr. Simon Cao has been appointed Chief Technology Officer of the company, with full authority and responsibility for all technical decisions at Avanex. Dr. Cao is one of the founders of Avanex and recently has served as senior vice president of product development.
