By adding real-time encoding and transcoding functionality to its range of modular head-end solutions for broadcast and IP network video delivery, Appear TV now has integrated all the functionality required for a true end-to-end head-end architecture.
The addition of MPEG2 & H.264 AVC Multi format Encoder & Transcoder modules that support 4SD or 2HD channels creates a high density, compact solution for operators when integrated into the Appear TV carrier-class 1RU & 4RU chassis. Combined with the extensive range of Appear TV head-end modules provides leading class head end design flexibility and scalability capable of taking any input and providing any output.
