Scott Ballantyne makes move to VoIP firm from Tendril Networks

HOLMDEL, N.J. -- Vonage Holdings Corp. (NYSE:VG - News), a leading provider of communications services connecting individuals through broadband devices worldwide, today announced the appointment of Scott Ballantyneas Chief Marketing Officer.

Mr. Ballantyne will be responsible for the strategic direction and implementation of the Company's global sales and marketing initiatives including advertising, media, segment marketing, pricing, promotions, and all retail distribution. He will serve on the company's Senior Leadership Team and will report to Vonage CEO, Marc Lefar.

"His broad technology and international experience will prove invaluable as we execute against our growth strategies and enter new markets."

Mr. Ballantyne comes to Vonage from Tendril Networks, where he held the position of Senior Vice President of Marketing. He has enjoyed a 24-year track record of success across all aspects of marketing and sales with well-known technology companies including Hewlett-Packard, T-Mobile, Dell and Motorola.
