Lufthansa Systems signs global services contract with Orange Business Services

PARIS -- Lufthansa Systems, one of the world’s leading IT providers for the airline and aviation industry, has signed a 42-month global services contract with Orange Business Services. This contract covers maintenance of the IT infrastructure in more than 100 countries.

With more than 3,000 employees at numerous sites in Germany and branches in 16 countries, Lufthansa Systems offers solutions covering all airline business processes. For the introduction of next-generation IT equipment at worldwide locations of its key accounts Lufthansa German Airlines and Lufthansa Cargo, the airline IT specialist was looking for a service provider that had a global coverage and top quality services.

“Throughout the entire project, Orange Business Services was always able to react very flexibly to ongoing changes,” said Dr. Hannes Pfister, senior vice president Infrastructure Services at Lufthansa Systems. “Orange Business Services had already demonstrated a very good performance in previous projects. Having seen the first phases of implementations, we are very pleased with the performance of Orange Business Services so far.”
