SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Xelerated, the price/performance leader in network processing, today announced that its Xelerator(tm) X11 network processor has been selected by Huawei Technologies for the next-generation packet-based multi-service products for Metro networks.

The X11 NPU will be deployed in the next-generation packet-based product family to meet the key requirements from multiple global operators.
