MAHWAH, N.J. -- Radware (RDWR), a leading provider of cyber security and application delivery solutions ensuring optimal service level for applications in virtual, cloud and software defined data centers, announced that TeraGo Networks Inc., [a wholly-owned subsidiary of TeraGo Inc. (TGO.TO)], Canada’s leading internet, data networking, colocation and cloud services provider has chosen Radware’s DDoS Attack Mitigation solution to power their new suite of security services.

Headquartered in Ontario, Canada, TeraGo Networks owns and manages a national IP network, providing service to 46 major markets across Canada. The company operates seven data centers, including two Tier 3 data centers in Mississauga, Ontario and Kelowna B.C. With last year’s acquisition of RackForce Networks Inc., TeraGo now also offers a full line of cloud computing and storage devices. TeraGo is proud to help businesses save on costs and operate with greater efficiency by providing complimentary IT services that meet their telecom and data needs.

Before selecting Radware, TeraGo deployed remotely-triggered black hole (RTBH) filtering to protect against attacks. After a two-year review of the available solutions on the market, TeraGo selected Radware’s Attack Mitigation System because of simplicity of implementation, and the solution’s ability to detect and clean the traffic seamlessly, as well as providing new business opportunities for Terago.

“Radware is now able to protect our IT infrastructure and end customers without human intervention, thus reducing our response time and providing more value to our customers while protecting their mission-critical systems,” said Stewart Lyons, CEO at TeraGo. “What’s more, with Radware’s attack mitigation solution, we can now offer our customers multiple DDoS mitigation options, allowing them to maintain business continuity while protecting their most vital asset – their data.”
