Santera Welcomes TFN into Carrier Family

PLANO, Tex. -- Santera Systems Inc., a leading provider of next-generation switching solutions, today announced its first international customer, Taiwan Fixed Network (TFN). TFN plans to use the SanteraOne(tm) switch as a packet-tandem solution initially, and later to handle Next Generation Class 5 traffic as the demand for new bandwidth-intensive applications increases. TFN is one of three private telecom service providers to receive fixed-line operating licenses that will allow them to offer voice and data services to compete with the incumbent.
