NTT America Completes Installation of MPLS Network Solution for the Allied Telesyn Group

NEW YORK -- NTT America, the U.S. subsidiary of NTT Communications Corporation, the international and long distance service arm of the largest telecommunications company in the world: Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation, today announced it has completed an MPLS IP-VPN network installation for the Allied Telesyn Group, a world leader in network technologies for the access edge. The global IP-VPN service connects 13 locations in 12 countries for Allied Telesyn.

The twelve countries this new service is connecting for Allied Telesyn include: the United States, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, the United Kingdom, Austria, Spain, Germany, France, Holland, and Italy.

"As we looked to upgrade our network, the new technology being offered by NTT America provided a number of advantages that we required including reliability, security, and scalability," explains Mick Burke, Director, Worldwide Information Technology for Allied Telesyn.
