WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Prima Luci Inc., (First Light) a cutting edge optical and photonic component company announced today that as part of the company’s corporate strategy it will sell off its Intellectual Property Patent Portfolio.

In short, Prima Luci has patented an unprecedented method to redirect light pulses that flow through fiber optic strands in a manner that allows system manufactures and carriers to realize substantial savings in CapX (above 90%), as well as magnitudes in OpX. Our technologies can be used in very short-range communications (chip-to-chip) as well as for ultra-long haul requirements.

“We have accomplished what we set out to do which was to amass an unprecedented Patent Portfolio that impacts the Optical and Photonics Industries. Our impressive patents cover breakthroughs in True Optical Transmission that is unmatched by any other known technology in the world”, stated Frank Coloccia, co-Founder and Chairman. “We are the first and only company that has patented the “Photonic Transistor” which does not require light pulses to be converted, altered, or buffered in any way, and uses the light's own properties to control itself intelligently”.
