Jay West, new vice president of sales and marketing, comes from Chorum Technologies

PHOENIX -- Optical components and subsystemsmanufacturer Micro Photonix Integration Corporation (MPI) today addedanother 25 years of telecommunications experience to its executive team withthe appointment of Jay West as vice president of sales and marketing.West most recently served as vice president of sales for Texas-based ChorumTechnologies, a private company that produces a different but similarcategory of optical components. He was responsible for building the salesorganization and delivered significant revenue growth over the past twoyears.
“Jay was instrumental in building Chorum Technologies from a company of 80employees to anindustry leader with a team of 800 during his two-year tenure,” said HenryHung, MPI’s president and CEO. “He has the experience, vision and industryrelationships to help MPI meet all of its growth and scalability objectives.”
