A Loss for BrossA Loss for Bross
Person o' the Year, thus far
September 14, 2007

3:15 PM -- Today's Light Reading Readers' Choice Person of the Year Award poll update (see Light Reading's Person of the Year: The Finalists):
It's hard to believe that BT CTO Matt Bross has less than 2 percent of the overall vote. Is Bross really that unpopular in the Light Reading universe? I doubt it. I think maybe what's happening is the Brits have lived under a monarchy for so long it makes them reluctant to vote on anything. They'll just take whatever we give them.
Reminder: The Person of the Year poll closes September 28, which is also the entry deadline for the remaining Leading Lights awards categories. To submit your entry for Leading Lights, go to www.lightreading.com/awards.
The winner of the Person of the Year Award -- and all our other Leading Lights Awards -- will be announced at a special awards dinner on October 15, in New York City, following the first day of our Ethernet Expo.
