WTD will exhibit its DWDM XFP and GPON optical transceiver modules in OFC 2008

WUHAN, China -- The Optical Fiber Communication Conference and Exposition (OFC) and the 33rd National Fiber Optic Engineers Conference (NFOEC) will be held on February 25-28 in the Exposition Center in San Diego USA. As a global leading optical device supplier, WTD will once again participate in this important optical communication exhibition.WTD booth No. is 2331.

In this exposition, WTD will exhibit its newly-developed 40/80km DWDM XFP 10bps optical modules, which adopt DWDM-rated EML lasers and APD detectors. Conforming to SONET OC-192, SDH STM 64 and 10GBASE standards and compatible with 10G FC standard. Fully based on XFP MSA protocol version 4.5 and satisfying RoHS requirements, these products has a power consumption of less than 3.5W, swappable optical and electrical interfaces and transmission ranges of 40 and 80km respectively. At the present, their prototypes are available.

In addition, it will bring on the show its series FTTx application products including GPON ONU/OLT optical transceivers that conform to RoHS & WEEE and 10G/40Gbps optical transceiver and XMD 10Gpbs TOSA/ROSA, revealing its capabilities of offering superb full series optical device solutions.
