Just as the market for optical stocks has reached new lows, Light Reading editors are taking action and picking some public companies that they think some day will make new highs.
It's been a miserable first half of 2001 in the market for optical stocks. The Light Reading Index was down 60 percent in the first half of the year, and today registered a new all-time low of 250.
Depressing, eh? Well, time to look on the bright side: The stuff is cheap.
