Optical Cable Picks VP

ROANOKE, Va. -- Optical Cable Corporation (Nasdaq: OCCF), a leading manufacturer of a broad range of fiber optic cables for data communications, has announced that they have named Mr. Robert J. Sebesto to the newly created position of Vice President of Business Development. Mr. Sebesto joins Optical Cable Corporation from FiberCore, Incorporated, in Charlton, Massachusetts. In his new role, Mr. Sebesto will focus on the development of new business and markets worldwide for Optical Cable Corporation's fiber optic cables. Before joining Optical Cable Corporation, Mr. Sebesto was Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing for FiberCore, Incorporated, a position he held for over four years. Prior to that he was the Global Business Manager for the Optical Fiber Cable Division of Amp, Inc., in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Mr. Sebesto also held various management positions at Berk-Tek, Incorporated, in New Holland, Pennsylvania where he was the Business Manager for the Optical Fiber Cable Division and the Director of International and OEM Sales.
