O-Net develops 3-Band WDM Module development for B-PON application, plans shipment in Q2

SHENZHEN, China -- O-Net communications Ltd, a leading optical component supplier in Shenzhen, China, announces its completing 3-Band WDM Module development for B-PON application. The volume shipment is expected to start in Quarter 2 this year.

O-Net 3-Band WDM module is based on advanced thin-film filter technology and features optical path epoxy free. Compared with the similar product available in the market, O-Net 3-Band WDM module has been purposely designed into much smaller size (40x16x7mm) at much lower cost. During the temperature range from 0 to 75 degree Celsius, it has a minimum of isolation 50dB for all directions and its TDL is less than 0.3dB. The minimum insertion loss is achieved for 1550nm to enhance the video clarity during the transmission. The product's excellent performance allows the product especially suitable for outdoors application. The product is Telcordia GR-1221 compliant.
