Nortel Settles With Extreme

TORONTO -- Nortel Networks Limited (NYSE:NT) (TSX:NT.) and Extreme Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq:EXTR) today announced that they have entered into a patent cross license agreement, the terms and conditions of which are confidential. The pending lawsuit between Nortel Networks Limited, Nortel Networks, Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of Nortel Networks Limited, and Extreme Networks in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, Civil Action No. 01-10443, has been dismissed.
