SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- ZettaCom, Inc. today named Mark Vecchiarelli as Vice President, Sales and Support, reporting to Daryn Lau, president and CEO. In this newly created position, Mr. Vecchiarelli will be responsible for ZettaCom's worldwide sales, distribution channel management, and customer support. "ZettaCom is positioning itself to become a leading supplier of high performance network semiconductor solutions. With our current generation OC-192 switch fabric and traffic management solutions currently in volume shipment, Mark's extensive experience in the commIC industry will help ZettaCom to become a major global commIC company," stated Lau. Vecchiarelli brings to ZettaCom over 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry and related fields. Previous to ZettaCom, Vecchiarelli was Director, West Coast Sales at Applied Micro Circuits Corp. (AMCC). Prior to this, he was Director, North American Distribution at Transwitch Corporation and Worldwide Account and Business Development Manager at LG Semicon. Vecchiarelli holds a BS/EET from DeVry Institute of Technology and an MBA from Pepperdine University. ZettaCom Inc.
