LONDON -- Netgem (, a leader in connected home entertainment solutions, today announced its latest TV solution for Broadband Operators. Capitalising on Netgem’s recently announced nCloud software suite and its newly released hardware platform, the N7700, the company is bringing to market a highly cost efficient and innovative TV solution for Broadband Operators. This solution has been built to meet the objective of enabling Broadband Operators to increase ARPU and reduce churn within their customer base. It delivers a rich, innovative and cost effective TV service combining Live TV, PVR, VOD, Internet video services and personal content on the main TV screen, with an option to offer an extended social TV service on tablet. Underlying the N7700 hardware is the latest cost-optimised SoC from Broadcom, which offers enough resources for a multi-year software roadmap, to include 3D user interface and games. By combining cloud based services and cost optimised hardware, Netgem offers Broadband Operators a very scalable model and a high Return on Investment. The solution is also available as software only option for Operators with existing large deployed installed base.

Christophe Aulnette, Chief Executive Officer of Netgem, said: “The Telecom landscape is changing rapidly and Operators find themselves under intense competitive and financial pressure. We have put our 16 years of experience in the television and broadband industries into this new IPTV solution. This solution is a perfect fit for Operators looking to enter the video and television service space for the first time, Netgem can offer both its technology expertise and its success in managing large scale deployments. We also believe we can also help more established players develop their services, even if they have already deployed competing solutions.”
