Small Cell Leaders: Where Are they Now?

2015 is gearing up to be a big one for small cells: Operators are ready to move beyond the macro network, long-awaited vendor deployment announcements will begin to trickle out and voice-over LTE will mean more small cell action for the enterprise market. (See LTE Small Cells Set to Be Big in 2015.)

With so much going on, 2014 has seen its fair share of changes in plans, timelines and executive roles. This time last year, Light Reading listed its top six Small Cells Movers & Shakers, and identified a handful of others to watch in the space. We called a lot of them right, but -- at the same time -- we also saw a number leave the industry, either by choice or not. (See Top 6 Small Cells Movers & Shakers.)

As such, we're updating our coverage of the small cells movers and shakers list with a "Where Are They Now?" edition -- see our new Prime Reading feature, Small Cell Movers & Shakers: Update.

As always, we welcome your feedback in the comments section below. Any movers and shakers you want us to keep an eye on in 2015? Any companies you think will lead the market in small cells or, conversely, bow out? Let us know.

What Keeps The Leader On Top? It will be interesting if not a bit puzzling to figure out why some of those guys pulled out of the market. And to guess just what keeps a "leader" out front. Chance, clever planning, or just alot of investment money to stay ahead?
