OTTAWA -- Support for Cisco's ONS 15454 Optical Transport Platform Furthers LINMOR's Foray into Projected Billion Dollar Network Market LINMOR Technologies (TSE:LIR.), the leading developer of real-time performance management systems for managing the Internet infrastructure, announced today the release of a reporting module for Cisco's ONS 15454 Optical Transport Platform as part of its NEBULA(R) Performance Monitor (PM) system. The reporting module will provide network service providers with detailed, vendor-specific data on how data traffic is flowing through the platform, to help ensure quality network service for users. This is the first of LINMOR's planned support for Cisco's optical equipment as it now targets this burgeoning market.
"By adding support for optical, in addition to the support we already have for IP, ATM, Frame Relay and DSL networks, we can acquire an even larger share of the growing broadband market," said Bogdan Materna, Chief Technology Officer for LINMOR Technologies. "As Cisco is a dominant supplier of optical equipment, this reporting module is a key factor in our objective of making NEBULA the defacto standard performance management solution by continuing to add support for the major broadband technologies being deployed by carriers today."
