Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Xena

10:50 AM -- So, the big brains over at CalTech say they've discovered a tenth planet, and (for now, at least) it's got the working title of "Xena."

For your edification, Red Panda provides a few stats on this latest celestial object:

  • It's at least 20 percent bigger than Pluto, but three times farther away from the Sun.

  • Its orbit is highly elliptical, tilted at a 45-degree angle to the ecliptic, and 560 Earth years long.

  • Its surface temperature is barely above absolute zero.

  • It made its first appearance in the TV series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, but later starred in its own hit spinoff series.

But what Red Panda would really like to know is: If Xena has a moon, will it be called "Chakram"?Chakram
