Mangrove, CUBO Intro CWDM Mux

WALLINGFRD, Conn. and MAINZ, Germany -- Mangrove Systems, developer of the industry's first end-to-end MPLS solution, and Cube Optics (CUBO), a manufacturer of miniaturized fiber-optic components, today announced the market introduction of the first CWDM multiplexers integrated into a pluggable GBIC module. The companies have jointly developed miniaturized CWDM devices that are incorporated in a GBIC MSA format, available either as an 8-channel head-end or single wavelength add and drops for access nodes. The devices feature as an option for Mangrove's Piranha and Barracuda MetroMPLST Access and Switching platforms.
