It was pretty funny and very sad.

Can you please in the future mark such links as not work safe? Depending on where you are and where you work the language can be considered a problem. It is also sad that we have reached that point.

re: 'Leave Britney ALONE!' Thank you! That was the most disturbing, yet most entertaining, thing I witnessed all day.

re: 'Leave Britney ALONE!' Wow. So funny, and yet so sad. It has to be fake. Please tell me it's fake!

One question though: is this loser a chick or a dude? Lemme guess... the name is Pat.

re: 'Leave Britney ALONE!' At one point in time, this was a boy. However, I think now it's safe to say a little of both.

No, not Pat -- Chris. Same difference.

Too right - it's painful to be confronted with incontrovertible proof that we as a society have so complacently suffered the erosion of our integrity that finding even a puerile or wry endorsement of such conspicuous profligacy to be offensive should depend on where one is or works.

Check, please.

re: 'Leave Britney ALONE!' From today's washingtonpost.com (http://www.washingtonpost.com/...

You know that guy who goes by the name Chris Crocker, who generated 8 million hits on YouTube in one week railing against the media for making fun of Britney Spears for profit?

Now he's used poor BritBrit for profit, landing a development deal with production house 44 Blue, which plans to develop a "docusoap" in which Crocker's front and center.

"He's going to be a TV star," 44 Blue President Rasha Drachkovitch told trade paper Variety.

"It's going to pretty much be the 'Chris Crocker experience.' "

And who wouldn't want to have a share of that?
