CAMBRIDGE, U.K. -- iMagicTV (Nasdaq:IMTV and TSE:IMT), a provider of software products that allow telephone companies and other service providers to deliver multi-channel television and interactive media services, today announced the general availability of pcVu 2.0, an open, flexible platform that delivers quality broadcast television to the PC using video streams over a service provider's secure, managed broadband network. Working in conjunction with iMagicTV's DTV Manager platform, pcVu brings full-screen multi-channel digital television capabilities to the subscriber's personal computer (in the same manner the software delivers digital TV to the television). This provides yet another source of revenue for broadcasters and service providers and another entertainment option for the consumer. With a simple software download and no additional hardware, subscribers can easily install pcVu on their PC.

"iMagicTV's software suite allows telephone companies and other service providers to leverage their existing infrastructure, differentiate their service offering from competitors, and generate new revenues streams," said Marcel LeBrun, president and CEO of iMagicTV. "By implementing our DTV Manager software, they can deliver multi-channel digital television and rich media services over broadband networks - direct to their subscribers' television, personal computer, or both."
