Heavy Reading Hires Senior Analyst 604848

NEW YORK -- Light Reading Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Stan Hubbard as Senior Analyst for its market research division, Heavy Reading.

A seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in strategic marketing and business analysis, Stan spent seven years with Ciena Communications – most recently as Director of Market Intelligence – prior to joining Heavy Reading.

During his tenure at Ciena, he managed relations with more than 60 optical, data, broadband access, and storage analysts worldwide; market intelligence; forecasting; and competitive positioning.

In his new capacity at Heavy Reading, he will cover Ethernet, optical, and other wireline topics.

A graduate of Texas Christian University and the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy at Tufts University, Stan lives in Maryland.
