ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Fibertech Networks, L.L.C., a leader in building and operating metro-area dark fiber networks within mid-size U.S. cities, today announced that it has completed its full 147-mile Indianapolis network, as well as an urban ring in Hartford, Conn. ,p> Since it began operations in June of 2000, Fibertech has surpassed significant milestones associated with its initial 13-market build. To date, the company has installed more than 50,000 fiber miles in mid-size cites, and now has network rings operational and carrying traffic in seven markets.
