MARLBOROUGH, Mass. -- Xevo Corporation, the leading developer of service management software for service providers, today released XevoWorks Release 2.3, the company's latest version of its XML-based service management solution that provides efficient, reliable and automatic application provisioning, metering, packaging and subscriber/user management. XevoWorks 2.3's new features enable service providers to more aggressively support the requirements that their customers have for software-as-a-service. These end-user requirements include increased security through dedicated forest deployments and more delegated administrative control over their own hosted environment. XevoWorks 2.3 also supports Microsoft Exchange Instant Messenger and SharePoint Team Services in addition to existing support of hosted Microsoft Exchange 2000 and other products within the Microsoft .NET family. According to Dr. Bahman Zolfagharpour, chairman and CEO of CyberRoute, a leading Dutch ASP and Xevo customer, "Our customers have sophisticated requirements for software-as-services. CyberRoute Network Hosted Services covers Microsoft applications, such as MS Office XP with Outlook and MS Exchange in combination with industry specific applications. The new functionality in XevoWorks 2.3 will enable us to offer our customers a robust provisioning platform, improved delegated administration, self-registration, tailored services and increased security. XevoWorks 2.3 will help us continue to support these types of demands and therefore enable us to grow our software-as-a-service business." Xevo Corp.
