Company appoints Anil Khosla as the CEO and managing director

NEW DELHI, India -- Canadian based Wesley Clover Corporation, the highly respected international investment and technology group, today announced the setting up of its operations in India. The new company, Wesley Clover Solutions Pvt. Ltd., based out of Gurgaon, Haryana, has been incorporated to develop new and existing business opportunities in the burgeoning Indian high technology market. Wesley Clover also announced the appointment of Mr. Anil Khosla as the CEO and Managing director of the Indian operation.

“Wesley Clover is controlled by technology magnate and entrepreneur, Sir Terry Matthews, a prominent investor in the technology, real-estate and leisure industries. Sir Terry has founded, financed or brought to market over 60 high technology companies including Mitel, March Networks, Dragonwave, BridgewaterSystems, Newport Networks, INUK, Solace Systems and many others.

The Wesley Clover operations in India will work closely with other business affiliates and partners to introduce state-of-the-art Internet Protocol (IP) technologies, such as advanced IP communications solutions from Mitel. It will invest in research, development and support services to develop new, innovative applications for the portfolios of solutions from associated companies both in India and worldwide.

“Our associated companies are already doing business in India. Opening our office in India will not only expand our operations here but will also allow us to address the very significant market opportunities that exist today. We will draw on the local, highly-skilled pool of engineers to create new IP based applications for businesses”, said Sir Terry. “I have visited India many times during my career and I like the people, the culture and the creative energy that exists here so I feel quite comfortable in making the significant investment required to capitalize on the opportunities in this growth market” he further added
