SIPquest Augments VOIP Apps

OTTAWA -- SIPquest Inc., a leading developer of Voice over IP (VoIP) software based on the industry standard Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) today announced the general availability of its latest advancements of its Release 2.0 software. Release 2.1 brings additional functionality to SIPquest’s Internet Service Provider (ISP) and Internet Telephony Service Provider (ITSP) customers to facilitate the rapid roll-out of enhanced VoIP services.

SIPquest’s application suite allows ISPs and ITSPs to SIP-enable their products and get to market fast without diverting their own development resources. “Our commercially available software helps ISPs and ITSPs get to market fast with SIP-based services – from basic VoIP (voice) service to more complex, service-rich applications like audio, video and data conferencing services. New capabilities in Release 2.1 will allow ISPs and ITSPs to track and more easily bill for SIP-enabled pre-paid calling services through our introduction of RADIUS support and a back-to-back user agent.”
