DALLAS -- Siemens Home and Office Communication Devices LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Siemens Communications, Inc., is presenting its new high-speed Gigaset SE267 VDSL2 Modem at TelecomNEXT in Las Vegas, Nevada. The standard base VDSL2 modem provides a cost-effective solution designed for plug-and-play installation and fast delivery of enhanced voice, video and data services.

The Gigaset SE267 modem supports up to 100 Mbps upstream and downstream providing the capacity to deliver services such as high-definition TV (HDTV), video-on-demand, videoconferencing, high-speed Internet access, and Voice-over-IP (VoIP) over a standard telephone line. Key features include a 10/100 Ethernet port which provides full-rate LAN performance and easy setup and management. The modem's plug-and-play architecture helps to make mass deployment and installation easier for service providers and subscribers.

"With its increased throughput and VDSL2 standard compliance, the new Gigaset modem is designed to enable service providers to be more successful and contribute to higher revenues with video content delivery," said Cliff Thompson, President of Siemens Home and Office Communication Devices LLC. "The new modem is a powerful addition to the Gigaset product line and an ideal solution that service providers can leverage to simplify service enablement and manage the entire broadband subscriber lifecycle."
