Pioneer Telephone Cooperative deploys Redback's SmartEdge Service Gateway for advanced broadband services

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Redback Networks Inc. (NASDAQ: RBAK), a leading provider of next-generation broadband networking systems, today announced that Pioneer Telephone Cooperative, one of the largest telephone cooperatives in the United States, has deployed the SmartEdge® Service Gateway to deliver advanced broadband services, including fixed wireless access for roaming broadband services.
