NEW YORK -- McGraw Communications, a full-service competitive local exchange carrier (CLEC) serving the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) market, today announced that it is expanding its Voice-over-Internet-Protocol (VoIP) services. McGraw will broaden its offerings using underlying services provided by Level 3 Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq:LVLT) through the Level 3 (3)EnabledSM Partner Program.

McGraw, which provides nationwide voice and data services including local and long distance, Web conferencing and Internet services, said it is using services from Level 3 to expand its high-quality VoIP offerings. The Level 3 services include (3)ToneSM Business, voice termination, high-speed Internet access and colocation. McGraw said Level 3's infrastructure services are being used to consolidate as much VoIP traffic as possible over the Level 3 network in support of McGraw's business-oriented VoIP sales.

"Our relationship with Level 3 will enable us to significantly expand our VoIP offerings for the SME market, while helping us continue to offer the best mix of voice and data products, competitive pricing, simplified billing, and a single point of contact for businesses wanting to streamline telecommunications operations and reduce costs," said Frank Ahearn, McGraw's chief executive officer. "We chose Level 3's services because of the company 's robust IP/MPLS-based network and its strong reputation as a nationwide CLEC."

"We look forward to working with McGraw to deliver high-quality VoIP services to its substantial base of SME customers," said Glenn Russo, senior vice president of Channel Programs for Level 3. "Our services will enable McGraw customers to maximize operational efficiencies, reducing the costs of adds, moves, and changes, and streamlining administration."
