Lynx Hires Senior VP

Dick Sadai, ex Lucent, joins solid-state optical switch startup

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. --Lynx Photonic Networks (www.LynxPN.com), developer of patented planar waveguide photonic switches and sub-systems, has named Dick Sadai Senior Vice President of Global Business Development for their recently opened U.S. operations based in Southern California.

Sadai will be joining Lynx following six years as Vice President of Business Development, InterNetworking Systems Group at Lucent Technologies. During that time, he enjoyed many notable successes such as the partnership with and subsequent $3.5 billion acquisition of International Network Services in 1999. Sadai also headed the team in 1998 that created a global alliance with Sun Microsystems. It provided a pre-packaged suite of networking products and services specifically designed for ISPs and other network providers. Before entering the field of Business Development, Sadai enjoyed an accomplished career as an attorney specializing in international mergers and acquisitions.
